Get luminous, glowing and radiant skin with the Medik8 Press & Glow Tonic! This encompasses the next generation of exfoliating acids in the form of poly hydroxy acids (PHA’s) that work to exfoliate the surface of the skin for a healthy glow.

This easily absorbed acid toner has a non-sticky formula that doesn’t dry out the skin. It is powered by innovative ingredients brimming with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.

Medik8 Press & Glow Tonic is formulated with next generation exfoliating poly hydroxy acids. Water soluble PHA gluconolactone, draws moisture to hydrate the skin whilst exfoliating to reveal a radiant glow, without any of the dryness or tightness often experienced with acid toners.  Medik8 Press & Glow Tonic can also be used in conjunction with your favourite Vitamin A product without sensitising the skin. This allows you to boost your glow and enjoy smooth, radiant skin year-round!

Medik8 Press & Glow Tonic is also formulated with prickly pear extract which further boosts skins radiance. It is loaded with essential fatty acids and aids in brightening age spots and hyperpigmentation. It also contains aloe vera which calms and soothes irritated skin as well as boosting moisture levels. Acai extract also works to take down inflammation and provides protection against free radical damage.

How to use:

Twist the top half of the pump anti-clockwise until it clicks to activate. After cleansing in the morning and evening, hold a reusable cotton pad firmly over Press & Glow and push down 3-4 times. Sweep the pad over the complexion, avoiding the delicate eye area. Twist the pump clockwise until it clicks to avoid leakage.

Always do a patch test before first use.

Enhances Age-Defying Results of Vitamin A

Helps to aid optimal vitamin A absorption, while also working to enhance its visible age-defying benefits.

Step 1

Unlock by twisting the top half of the pump anti-clockwise until it clicks.

Step 2

After cleansing in the morning and evening, hold a facial pad (reusable is best) firmly over Press & Glow and push down 3-4 times.

Step 3

Sweep the pad over the complexion, avoiding the delicate eye area.

Step 4

Twist the pump clockwise until it clicks to secure. For Press & Glow Refill, transfer the pump saved from your previous Press & Glow bottle onto the Press & Glow Refill. Twist clockwise until it clicks into place.

5.5% Gluconolactone (PHA)

A high-performing polyhydroxy acid (PHA), gluconolactone (pronounced ‘gloo-cona-LAC-tone’) works by converting into gluconic acid to gently exfoliate and hydrate the skin surface. The result is a visibly smoother, glowing and more even skin surface.

 

Prickly Pear Extract

A natural enzyme activator, it helps to boost the skin’s natural exfoliation process as well as its rate of cell renewal. This helps to improve the visible clarity and luminosity of the skin, as well as the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

 

Acai Extract (pronounced ‘ah-sigh-ee’)

This natural extract can help to calm inflammation, while protecting the skin against the damaging and ageing effects of free radicals.

 

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera helps to reduce skin irritation, enhance the skin’s moisture retention abilities and prevent free radical damage.

Polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) are different to traditional exfoliating acids as they have a larger molecule size. This means they can’t penetrate as deeply into the skin layers. Instead, they work on the skin’s surface, without disturbing the delicate layers that lie beneath.

This ensures optimal skin cell renewal alongside minimal irritation. By breaking down the ‘glue’ that binds dull and dead cells to the skin surface, PHAs help to speed up cellular turnover to reveal the visibly brighter, smoother skin underneath.

PHAs also boast powerful humectant properties, meaning they draw in moisture for increased hydration and a soothing sensation. The result? None of the irritating effects that are commonly associated with traditional acid toners.
