Most fillers will dissolve away and gets broken down by the body into water. However, there are cases that we have seen before with fillers that last much longer that it was intended to. For these cases, the filler had to be dissolved by injecting a dissolver call hyalase which breaks down the filler into water.

Most filler injections are not painful with numbing cream applied. There are some areas which are more sensitive, such as the lips, and can be more uncomfortable.

Before your dermal filler treatment, it's recommended to avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours. Inform your provider about any medications or supplements you're taking, and avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin for a week prior.

After your treatment, refrain from strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours and limit sun exposure and tanning beds. Follow your provider's instructions regarding post-treatment products, and opt for gentle skincare routines while avoiding harsh treatments for a few days.
